This webpage contains animations of true colour, false colour and brightness temperature difference maps created with data from the Advanced Baseline Imager (ABI) for the La Soufriere eruption.

Using these maps, a minimum of 32 eruptive pulses were identified. The animations included on this webpage show these eruptive events. Some of the events have been combined into one animation. Due to the file size some events have been split into multiple animations.

We are grateful to the NOAA Big Data Program through which the GOES-16 data are available.

This webpage is to accompany the manuscript: Taylor I.A., Grainger, R.G., Prata, A.T., Proud, S.R., Mather, T.A. and Pyle, D.M., Satellite measurements of the plumes from the 2021 La Soufriere, St Vincent, in prep for ACP.

Full refers to where the full disc data has been used (10-minute resolution). Meso refers to where the mesoscale data has been used (1-minute resolution).
