The L1B spectra are made available by ESA approximately 2 weeks after acquisition and L2 processing takes another week or so depending on the number of orbits and observation mode.
In this first processing version (v1.00-1.10) the following L2 products are generated: pT, H2O, O3, HNO3, CH4, N2O, NO2 (ie the ESA products), plus CFC-11, CFC-12, ClONO2, N2O5 and CO. However for the Middle Atmosphere (MA) and Upper Atmosphere (UA) mode data, only the ESA products plus CO are produced.
Since Feb 2008 ESA have also been generating a Near Real Time (NRT) L1B dataset, distributed ~hours after acquisition. These are also processed at Oxford using the same L2 algorithm as the 'off-line' data but limiting the retrievals to pT, H2O and O3 (shown by lighter boxes in the table below). These are replaced on these web-pages once the 'off-line' data products have been generated.
Each day's data currently available as single IDL .sav files and (eventually) as HDF files.
Clicking on the square takes you to a map of the profile locations. On all the maps, different colours are used to indicate different orbits (numbered at the bottom) with different symbols indicating different operating modes. On the plots, open symbols represent profiles in daylight, solid symbols are at night.
