LABSPC C*8 As Described in *SPC section
LOWSPC R*8 "
UPPSPC R*8 "
RESSPC R*8 or I "

Notes
  1. Comment records may be inserted at any point, identified by the first character being '!' (eg, use ! to temporarily comment out records)
  2. Maximum of 80 characters per record
  3. There must be a carriage return <CR> at the end of the last record.
  4. One way of using a .spc file is to hold a list of all possible microwindow ranges but set RESSPC to zero for each. Then, in the *SPC section, set an explicit non-zero resolution for any microwindow which is required.

Example
! Define microwindows for p,T retrieval
! Just defines labels and ranges - not activated unless a resolution is
! assigned to the label in a subsequent record in the *SPC section
! Label Low.Wno Upp.Wno 0=off Alt.range
