Notes

Dates: 25, 27, 29, 31 May, 3, 5, 7 June

Comments from Sherwood (1900): According to Sherwood The first day's race started at 9pm, well after dark, after some confusion caused by high winds. After this starting lines were introduced, the start would be on the second of two pistols, and it was decreed that the boats should leave Sandford at 7pm (although this might have been the last year that the boats went down to Sandford before racing).
