From A History of St Catherine's Rowing 1875-1999

The production of this edition, ten years after the first, is the work of an editorial team consisting of Don Barton (1948), Anu Dudhia (1977) and Tony Hancox (1949). Chapter XVIII, 1990-1999, is largely the work of Anu Dudhia who has drawn on ten years of two issues a term of the Rowing Society Newsletter which he has edited since 1987. He has also produced the typescript for the printer.

There are new chapters and appendices, and opportunity has been taken to revise and add to those of the first edition. In the preparation for publication the Rowing Society has received considerable help from the College, notably from the Alumni & Development Officer, Margaret Simon, and her deputy, Rachael Hansen. Adrian Bullock (Senior Lecturer in Publishing at Oxford Brookes University), son of the Founding Master, has given invaluable guidance in advising the Editorial Committee on the publishing of what the Committee hopes is a pleasure to read and to handle. The volume has been designed to be similar to Creating St Catherine's College by Margaret and Derek Davies.

The Founding Master has contributed a Foreword.
