A fast stream and strong tailwind meant that new record times were set in every race.

It seems that OUBC have swapped around their coxes and Nick Brodie is now coxing Isis. [The Guardian]

6th March
Boat Race Crews announced
Bastien Ripoll, Colin Smith and Nick Brodie (cox) have been selected for OUBC, Bruce Magee has been selected for Isis.
Bastien Ripoll will be the first Frenchman to row in the Boat Race.
St Catz has had three members of OUBC once before: in 1991 the Oxford crew incuded Rupert Obholzer, Matthew Pinsent and Neil Chugani (cox).
The Boat Race will be on 2nd April.

Boat Name Auction
The winning bid ( £200 ) was from Richard Peters (M.82) who has chosen the name Sir Glyn Jones, the first President of the Rowing Society who was responsible for linking the RS with Coopers & Lybrand Deloitte (as PricewaterhouseCoopers were then).
