Surprisingly, perhaps, it does not show up in the
[Volcanic SO2 NRT service] from BIRA (using SCIA/GOME2/OMI)
A MIPAS "Volcanic Eruption" special event mode is planned for
15May, but MIPAS has been acquiring spectra in the nominal mode since 07 May
so perhaps an SO2 signature can be seen in these?
