CH4 (RS) [Prev] [Next] Preparing paper on 8 year dataset of CH4 retrieval comparisons, comparisons to MACC and GOSAT. Noticed anomalous lows in IASI tropical ocean CH4 (MACC/GOSAT are smooth). Could be related to N2O? (CH4 uses N2O for cloud-correction) Would also like to introduce linear flags for particulates (ash, dust, sulphates) Idea of using covariances based on difference of clear-sky differences between simulations and observations. CH4 (DK) Now processing IASI CH4 in NRT (using ECMWF Tem) 8 years of IASI CH4 now available on CEDA web-site. Starting full scale processing using retrieved T from 2014.
