Writing ATBD for CH4 processing. CH4 now running again in NRT. Process MetOp B from Jan2020 onwards.

CrIS (RS) [Prev]

Appying CH4 scheme to CrIS for ESA project, using S5P in combination. Comparison of IASI and CrIS CH4 v CAMS.

SLR (AD) [Prev]

Speculatively trying out scaled linear retrieval with NO and (excess) CO2. Recent Eumetsat users meeting for IASI-NG and MTG-IRS

Data (BJK) [Prev]

RAL have new dish for Eumetcast broadcasts which should improve data reception.

SO2 (IT) [Prev]

Processing IASI time series for SO2 retrieval. Identifying specific volcanic signuatures. Distinct increase in noise and seasonal cycle after May 2010 - may require an updated covariance matrix. Problem with how to stop plume altitude always reverting to fixed a priori when plume starts to become thin.
