Notes

• Original charts in Sherwood do not show the boundary between divisions, but this can be located by the Sandwich boat bumps on Saturday and Tuesday.

• Notes from Sherwood:

  River frozen for some weeks as far as Sandford, then floods. The boats retired to the upper river.

  Fourth day: Queen's impeded by New College, and bumped by Magdalen.

  Sixth day: No. 2 in the Hertford boat broke his oar at the start, but, though Merton were within a yard of them from the Red Post to the finish, they managed to escape.
