Mettler AT200 Scales

Mettler AT200 Scales

The scales measure the weight of a sample. When combined with a measurement of volume the density of the sample is obtained.

We have four class E2 reference weights. No calibration certificate was purchased.

Tolerance of calibration weights is descibed here. Class E2 implies

  • 1 g ± 0.03 mg
  • 2 g ± 0.04 mg
  • 5 g ± 0.05 mg
  • 10 g ± 0.06 mg

When not in use the weights should be kept in their plastic bag. The weights should only be handled indirectly, i.e. using soft tweezers.
